Handling Payments
95% of the time we enter the customer's card in the client website. This is about the remaining 5%. The following applies to some groups, service fees, some air travel and other unique situations.
E-Transfers
We can receive e-transfers at the email addresses:
- parksville@expediacruises.com
- nanaimo@expediacruises.com
- duncan@expediacruises.com
Please ask the clients to include a CTO number, booking number, or your name in the etransfer details. If you need confirmation the transfer has been received call Yonas.
Credit Cards
Presently we use Flex Travel, but we are switching to another system (TBC) for credit card payments.
Cheque
We accept payment by cheque, as normally there is a long period before the travel. We accept Canadian cheques > 10 days before travel.
Cash
We accept Cash payments from time to time. When this occurs, count the cash in front of the client, record the payment in the CTO and either
- Leave the cash with your manager
- Keep the cash (if you can use it), and etransfer the identical amount to nanaimo@expediacruises.com
- TBD: We are working to get a deposit ATM card for the account for larger amounts.
